Match Preview: Mohammedan v Kalighat in Kalinga Cup 2014
1 min readMohammedan Sporting Club might not have a great outing in recently concluded 2014 Durand Cup, but that won’t come into play when they face Kalighat Milan Sangha in the quarter-final round fixture of the 2014 All India Kalinga Cup on Saturday here at the Barabati Stadium Cuttack.
Mohammedan will be fully aware of the supporter’s ambition as they take to the field, however they would also be well aware that facing Kalighat MS, who won last match 4-0 against Radha Gobinda Club Cuttack will be no cakewalk for the Black Panthers.
When asked the Mohammedan boss Tope Ayodeji Fuja sound confident going into the match, and stated, “Kalighat is a Kolkata side so that’s why both of us know each other’s game, yesterday they played good football and won the match comfortably, their main strengh is their midfield so we will plan according to that, we are not thinking anything else for us winning is the only option”.
Match will begin at the Barabati Stadium Cuttack from 4:00 pm tomorrow.
