Transfer News: East Bengal targets Jackichand Singh, uncertain about Dudu Omagbemi

Kolkata: The season is not concluded yet, teams are still fighting for crown champion in I-league and I-league 2nd Division respectively, but various clubs have already started the procces of building the team for upcoming season. However AIFF rules clearly stated that a club can only sign a player for new season only after the conclution of I-league, but that does stoping clubs to start words with players.

The first news of this transfer season came from East Bengal Club, is the club have retained Abhijit Mondal, Abhra Mondal, Arnab Mondal and Robert Lalthlmuana. We have also learned that East Bengal has extended the respective contracts of Cavin Lobo, Sylo Malswamtlunga, Harmonjot Singh Khabra and Lalrindika Ralte besides East Bengal is hoping to acquire the service of Royal Wahingdoh striker Jackichand Singh.

Despite of strong desire to keep McPherlin Dudu Omegbemi in the squad for upcoming season East Bengal may have to back out because of Dudu’s excessive demand of over a crore for next season and under financial crisis East Bengal Club is in no condition to pay him such huge amount. Meanwhile we got the news from an club insider that East Bengal is considering Dempo forward Tolgay Ozbey as possible replacement for Nigerian striker.
