1 min read

KOLKATA: Mohammedan sporting’s qualifier match of the ongoing Calcutta Football League against Tollygunge Agragami which was supposed to be played tomorrow has been postponed by the Indian Football Association.

The club had urged the Indian Football Association to postpone the game after the Black Panthers reached the final of the Durand Cup beating Bengaluru United on Monday.

Mohammedan Sporting will face the winner of second semifinal between FC Goa and Bengaluru FC on third September which is just 2 days after their Calcutta Football League clash against Tollygunge. Hence the club requested the Indian Football Association to consider their plea and change the date of the above mentioned fixture so that players remain fresh before their all important Durand final.
