Indian International Raju Gaikwad visited the  Cooperage Football Ground at Mumbai. Raju Gaikwad expressed his excitement about the upcoming Charity Match between WIFA XI and Santosh Trophy Champions 2014 Mizoram. ‘The proceeds of the Match will be pumped into grassroots development and I’m really impressed with the work done by Mr. Kundan Chandra and WIFA to promote Grassroots in the state which is the need of the hour. I want WIFA to emphasize more on girls football as I see a lot eager talent but no outlet for them’, said the Young International.He was also quite impressed with the facilities and developments of the stadium work and was really excited to play at home after a very long time. He demanded the officials to bring back the Rovers Cup!

A tournament on 15th and 16th March to be held in Chembur. We invite all teams to participate. Its a 7-a-side tournament with rolling subs. The tournament will have a preliminary group stage guaranteeing at least three matches per team.

At ordinary tournaments in Mumbai the fees is Rs. 1000-1500 and usually these tournaments are knockout ones. So if you lose a match, you have basically paid Rs. 1000-1500 for one match. But at Chembur Cup you are assured to play three matches at an entry fee of just Rs. 2000 that comes up to Rs. 666.67 per match. more Matches, More Matches More Fun. Come register in Chembur Cup.

Individual Player registrations are open at Rs. 200. If you don’t have a club, don’t worry organizers will get you a team to play in. Teams of people who have registered Individually will be created.

Entry Fee:- Rs. 2000
Prize Money:- Rs. 10,000 for winners and Rs. 5000 for Runners-Up
